For these reasons UNECOL has initiated a journey towards sustainability with very clear objectives and a well-defined road map.

We want to be a sustainable business that generates positive impact in our environment, our economy and the society that hosts us. To achieve this, we have launched a series of initiatives:

Firstly, the return of all our adhesive manufacturing to our factory of Almussafes, Valencia. This is something that has generated:

• The creation of local quality jobs
• Increased control over our value & supply chain and its alignment with our corporate values and code of ethics
• Added value in our economic and business environment
• The reduction of our CO2 footprint
• Improvements in our service and product quality

We have also created a sustainability department in charge of undertaking:

• A structured dialogue with the groups of interest
• A materiality analysis of our business activity
• The development of a sustainability strategy
• The implementation of the sustainability plan and establishment of base lines to collect data from strategic KPIs

All this under the direct supervision of our CEO and the Sustainability Committee
